    Halo 3: ODST

    Taking place during the events of Halo 2, Halo 3: ODST puts players in the shoes of a silent Orbital Drop Shock Trooper (known as the Rookie) as he traverses through the Covenant-occupied metropolis of New Mombasa to find the whereabouts of his missing squadmates.

    EDIT: Why does it say Halo 3: Recon under the topic title, but Halo 3: ODST when you click on the topic itself?  
     
    EDIT x2: Well that was awesome, I like the way it's using The Orange Box inspired achievement tracker pop-up thing. Aw man, I want this game so bad, only 27 days until it drops. (See wut I did thar? Hur hur hur...)

    I know this won't make me play MP again, but hot damn does firefight sound awesome. Horde with halo skins is alright to me.

    Who else has pre-ordered ODST to get Sgt. Johnson in Firefight? I've had the game ordered from Amazon forever, luckily they're one of the selected retailers.

    As soon as it comes out we should have a Halo 3:ODST Bombing Run in Firefight. We could group up into squads and see who could get the highest score. Anyone else agree?

    I pre-ordered from a local game/movie chain and I'm hoping and praying they get their pre-order codes because I don't think they will. Oh well if I love this game as much as I think I will I can deal with being an ODST.
     
    Edit: Just watched that trailer and now I'll be really sad if I don't get Johnson.

    Just figured I'd leave it to be a surprise. The thing that bugs me the most is THE DAY I pre ordered it the list of places that offer it came out and Wal-Mart was on it and I didn't even know they took them. Like I said, I'll love and play this game to death regardless.
