Apparently the Beta was updated for some, and there was a new theme, this is quite beautiful, it really goes back to the original trilogy but mixed in with some new fresh tunes, this is a strong start.

I like it. Tone reminds me a bit of Halo 2.

I liked the music in 4 a bunch, even if it was a little different from what came before. Funnily enough Kazuma Jinnouchi did the two best tracks in that game. (117 and Mantis) Seeing as he's doing most of 5, I'm not surprised about how great the theme sounds.

man, the theme with the middle eastern flute thing that leads into the guitar is my favourite.

@manhattan_project: Damn that just makes me want to play through Halo 2 again, again, even though my last time was just over a month ago.

I'm surprised that they're using the original theme in 5 since I don't remember hearing it in 4. Always thought that it was some sort of licensing deal with Bungie or O'Donnell.

That song goes places, man. I'm glad Kazuma has a bigger part in the soundtrack this time.

I love what I'm hearing so far. The piano just before the five minute mark is bliss.

Lack of the classic Halo guitar riff and drum beat is a bummer. Maybe they'll have it for the inevitable endgame Warthog drive.

I felt like H4's music was super generic and unmemorable. Or at the very least, was crap compared to Marty's music. I like what's going on in that H5G clip though.

I really dig it. Feels like a mix of Halo 3 and 4.

As large as a production that Halo 4 was, I felt that its music gave it soul. Glad to see they're continuing the trend of amazing work here.

Honestly, I love what they've been doing with the series post-Bungie in just about every way.

The lack of the series' theme in Halo 4 is my main problem with the game so far (currently going through it on the MCC). Either it's missing from it or it's waaaaay too subtle to notice. Good to hear it's coming back for Halo 5.

I'm so torn on Halo 5, on one hand it's another Halo game, which for the longest time was my favorite series, but on the other I absolutely despise Halo 4 and this looks like more of that. I'm glad they put some of the original theme back in, but shit isn't the same with out the strings and drums

Like Halo 4 music is decent but it isn't memorable. Halo's theme is like the Star Wars theme of video games for me.
