I have. It tasted strange. It wans't bad, but I'd definitely take a normal Hamburger over one of those.

What's your opinion on them and/or do you care about people eating them instead of the original delicious meal?

Veggie burgers suck. If you're going to forsake meat, you shouldn't be allowed to enjoy the almighty pleasure that is a burger. Stick to eatin' grass.

I had one at my school once and it wasn't very pleasant.

The President's Choice Meatless Burger is actually pretty good, although I believe it has more to do with soy then vegetables.

I eat veggie burgers all the time and I like them.  However not all veggie burgers are equal some are awful.

I would say "Are you crazy" but.. I have and their O K.

They don't taste bad, but burgers are so much tastier with meat.

Soy burgers, tempeh burgers, garden burgers, yeah. 'Not bad' is about the best thing I can say about the best veggie burger, since they've got a fraction of the oomph of a real beef burger. No matter which one you go for, you'll never shake the nagging feeling that you're eating something that's trying to be beef, but who is it fooling?

Tempeh burgers come the closest of all, since the fermentation gives it a more meatlike texture and it tastes more like potatoes and chicken than fake beef flavouring.

I tried a veggie burger in an ok dioner once and actually quite enjoyed it :)

Admittedly i'd much sooner have a meaty burger any day - But i did quite like the vegiie variant ^_^

Once in the school cafateria....they were alright not the best burgers I've ever ate.

I used to eat those micro veggie burgers all the time. They aren't bad. They just aren't the same animal (so to speak) at all, but they have their own separate charm. I don't mind them on occasion. I'd even love them if they weren't so damn expensive.

Ugh I hate those things.  They are eatable but i will avoid it if I can.

The ones I have had have generally been pretty good. Although, yes, they are not as substantial as meat or turkey ones.
