Their eyes look so lifeless, so dead. I'm amazed this wasn't looked at or polished in development. All the character models have such an wooden, dead stares. It's the Polar Express Effect all over again. 
 
Is anybody else getting that feeling? For a game that's so focused on bringing out emotions, I can't help but be distracted by how lifeless they look. That and the dodgy voice-acting.

not so much. the loading screen models are the only place i got a REAL good look at the eyes, and they look pretty damn good.
 
i suppose if i stared deeply into those digital eyes i'd come to the shocking realization that there's no life in those pixels. :\

Who cares, the game has boobs.

Just played the demo and I thought it featured some of the best eyes I've ever seen in videogames

I thought the eyes were fine

nobody has really gotten eyes right in video games yet, even in Uncharted 2 the eyes look off on the characters.

So far every character I've seen in this game seems sullen or depresed as hell, so those stares have suited them pretty well. I guess I'd have to see a wider range of emotions to really judge.

The eyes seemed fine for me.  Only things that were distracting were the voice acting and clumsy walking animations.

I beg to differ. This is one of two games I think got the eyes perfect, the other is Metal Gear Solid 4.

Some characters have dead eyes at points, but they're very good in general. It's hard part to get right but I think QD nail it for the majority of the game.

I don't think women even have eyes. Everytime I look into their faces all I see is boobs. Thats the real difference between the sexes. Eyes and no eyes. "
