Although that sentence is very badly constructed, I agree with the idea behind it. Giant Bomb doesn't need a list of every single videogame that has humans in it, humans are expected to be in videogames, it's actually more notable when they don't appear. (Characterless games like the puzzle genre notwithstanding, obviously)
 
But what should this page be used for? Other than the vague concept of games that present the development and growth of humanity (SimEarth? Civilization?), I got nothing.

That sentence makes absolutely no sense.

I think it should be more for something like having human as a concept is like a game conveying "human" emotions and/or weaknesses, but doesn't reflect every game that features a human being, per say.
