Can't wait for this! One of the most underrated and unappreciated games that came out for the PS2. So glad it's getting an HD upgrade

Hmmm, I dunno, one of the great things about ICO was not knowing what in the hell was going on. But aslong as the book is done well it can keep the sense of mystery while still filling in blanks. I guess I will see.

It's a buy for me, also good for Team Ico for this year with the collection, the book and hopefully Last Guardian this will be a great year for them.

Well, I'll tell you three things, one I'll buy it, two it won't sell well, three after a year it might be hard to acquire. Japanese light novels don't sell well in America, thus they have low print runs.

I think we're at the point where we can stop calling this game "under-rated and under-appreciated".  It's name-dropped around the industry too often to be either one of those things.  
 
Edit: Also a novel about this game kind of ruins the whole point of the game. Ico is all about inferring the story and solutions from the environment. A novel about this game just seems counter-intuitive.     

ICO is fantastic, but this isn't cannon. It's an authors take on the game and its story; I'm not sure how to feel about that.
 
I hope it turns out great. I just don't know if I can read someone else's interpretation of the game after the connection that I forged with it. 

Weird. A novelization of Ico seems to fly in the face of everything Ico was about.

So does this book just cover the events of the game?
