The RadAbundance of singleplayer content.Punchin’ dudes in super-heroically fashion is satisfying.Good online. The BadUnlockables are a bit on the weak side.Sometimes the visuals look a bit terrible. Just a bit.I find fighting games difficult to talk about.I enjoy them on the most basic level possible.I learn a couple of basic combos and some special moves. And when those don’t work I feel no shame in admitting that when I’m desperate I’ll mash it out and hope something rad happens.Fortunately Inj...
InJustice: Gods Among Us. Just to get right down to it, this game is not Mortal Kombat 9. Well, maybe it is a little bit like MK9 but with DC characters. Actually playing the game feels vaguely familiar, but at the same time very different from NetherRealm's previous fighter. The unique movesets of the DC roster really makes your fighter feel powerful with every punch you land. Probably the most interesting addition to the MK9 formula in InJustice is the dynamic backgrounds. Stuff is always expl...
I won't lie --- the demo of this game had me worried. The demo had me feeling this game seemed dumb down, lacking in moves, and just not that enjoyable a title. I strongly considered eliminating my preorder out of sheer concern about this title's quality or possible lackthereof.I am thrilled I didn't end it, because the game is outstanding. A great shooter, completely different than Capcom fighters but definitely feeling like a Mortal Kombat game. The change of pace from the games of the other ...

A solid effort, but definitely no Mortal Kombat. The storyline is pretty laughable (and thus disappointing). Some of the character designs are completely ridiculous (Wonderwoman looks like a tranny, Lex looks like Bruce Willis and acts like Tony Stark ((although that's probably always been true))). Superman reveals what a weak hold he's had on his emotions all this time (and thus makes his entire character seem weak). There's wayyyy too many Starlabs missions. Multiplayer is fun but there are som...
I would recommend this instead of Mortal Kombat because I don't like gory stuff. My favorite character is Batman. I hope there is more than 4 dlc characters. It is confirmed Lobo will be the first dlc character. I hope there is a sequel to Injustice....
Having played MKvsDC before...and MK9, there is a healthy balance to what a DC fighter can and should be. I've read a bunch of reviews that talk about re skinning MK9 and no innovation involved with the game. Those comments are off of the mark by a mile.Game play: The game play here is just what you'd expect if you have played MK9 or any other decent caliber fighter. It's a little frustrating at first but once you get the hang of it and start recalling the moves without hesitation, it becomes a...
When NetherRealm Studios revived Mortal Kombat, they not only aided games likeStreet Fighter IV in bringing about the fighting genre’s resurgence, but also offered a breadth of single player content the likes of which the genre had never seen. From the ingenious conceit that carried its lengthy story mode, to multifarious challenges and mini-games that numbered in the hundreds; all of it bolstered by an approachable fighting system that was easy to pick up and play but difficult to master. With I...
