I played this game a while back, but then got caught up in other games.  I just started playing again, and it is awesome.  They just added a new map to it moments ago, it's called Karam and it's very nice.  Anyone else here play this game?

There is only one, bomb, Doubleshock.
    And that, bomb. Is Giant.

I've never heard of this game, but you obviously seem to enjoy it alot from the way you're talking about it. I might check it out.

Mods are good to go in GB database? I thought they'd be treated like freeware and flash games, ie not allowed.

Why not?  Counterstrike is a mod, and Day of Defeat is a mod, just as Insurgency is one.  It's a realistic military shooter, plays very good.

Those are also retail games (yes, I know their history dur dur). Insurgency's just a user created modification. It can be added later if they're hired by Valve and the game's sold in stores (never). If Insurgency can be added then you're opening the door to whole tons of modifications that have at least 1 fan that will defend their right to be here (if only the creator). How much you like one or not doesn't really matter... And I wasn't saying how things are anyway, I was asking. It was a question. I don't know if they accept mods. If they do, great, some of them can use the extra exposure. If they don't though, this should be deleted also. And I don't think it's that great but that's irrelevant.

Meh, I played it the very day it came out. I was the 700th downloader. I only played it for about a week before I uninstalled it though.

It's probably quite good now, It had some glitches when it launched but their dev team seemed motivated enough to handle that, and they've kept a consistent player base of 500 which is hard to do.

    Woot! 9 month old thread!

Anyways, if anyone cares, this game really is great. I haven't run into any glitches and I've been playing for a couple of days. It's definitely up there with the most realistic shooters out there. Check it out. It's free after all!
