    Overview

Heavy Burger (also known as Johnny Turbo's Arcade: Heavy Burger) is a multiplayer dual-stick shooter developed by Lub Blub and published digitally by Flying Tiger Entertainment for the Nintendo Switch on October 25, 2018 and for both the PC and Mac on November 2, 2018.

A crossover game with assets from numerous arcade games by Data East, Heavy Burger pits two teams of up-to-two chefs (resembling Peter Pepper from the 1982 game BurgerTime) against each other, with each chef armed with guns (similar to the 1987 game Heavy Barrel) that fires hamburgers, as they attempt to secure a money bag and bring it to their goal on the opponent's side of the arena. Similar to the Nidhogg series, this evolves into a tug-of-war between multiple arenas.

Each match of the game spans through multiple arcade machines in a virtual arcade and, with the exception of the central "Heavy Burger" machine, every arena features assets from a specific arcade game: Lock'n Chase, BurgerTime, Karate Champ, Side Pocket, Heavy Barrel, and Bad Dudes vs. DragonNinja (the last of which serves as each team's "base").
