Water has become instant death to me since I cant swim up, lol. What is the secret? (on a controller)

Just seems to be pointing the camera in the direction you want to swim and hitting forward on the stick. Confused me a bit at first too.

yeah the swimming in this game is terrible.

Glad I'm not just the only one having problems with this. I did an epic wing suite dive into the water and then drowned because I couldn't figure out how to surface. I actually thought the game bugged out.

You swim exactly like you walk and fly. Its streamlined like hell but it never feels quite right.

I like how swimming works in this, but at the same time I keep hitting buttons to dive out of instinct. And I probably won't stop that either.

I've always wondered why games have helicopter controls for swimming. Guess some people actually use them =)
