Kirby Air Ride is a high-speed, simple racing game starring HAL's flagship pink puffball.

Kirby's Air Ride is a kart racer staring Kirby. The game was notable in that it only uses one button on the controller (in addition to the analog stick) which slows Kirby down/uses power ups, all acceleration is done automaticly. The game is primarly meant to be played with multiple people, as their is no one mode that takes players through all of. or even more than one courses. The game consists of three modes of play the first is a more traditional kart racer, the second is a mode played from a top down perspective where the various tracks only fill a single screen (think Super Off Road) and finally is "City mode" in which players have a limited time to go around a city collecting stat building powerups before they are forced to compete in various minigames against players who have also done he same thing. The game also features several unlockables, which is governed by a board with several pannels that turn around only once certaint conditions have been achieved.
