My Collection

This is my collection of video games. Included are stories about what I thought about the games and whatnot. The games are sorted by the release of the console and then alphabetically. Many of them won't have interesting stories as I haven't played a lot, but when I do get around to playing a game I'll update the description.

List items

  • Have it complete for the 2600. Played this recently with a friend. Decided to hook up the Atari to my big-screen HDTV because it seemed like a fit. Didn't like the game that much though.

  • Have it complete for the 2600. This is one of my favorite 2600 games, one of the few. Invisible tanks is very fun and super creative.

  • Have it loose for the 2600. Played it once or twice and don't like it. The helicopter game on the video iPod is the same game and never liked that which I played before playing this.

  • Have it loose for the 2600. A very fun game, the only David Crane game I've played but if he can make a game this fun with such simple hardware, definitely worth checking out more games by him. My favorite 2600 game.

  • Have it complete for the 2600. Haven't played this in a long time and I guess I should be glad to be spared from it.

  • Have it complete for the 2600. Haven't played this version but have played Galaxian somewhere else and I prefer Galaga.

  • Have it loose for the 2600. Don't think I've played this.

  • Have it loose for the 2600. Don't think I've played this.

  • Have it loose for the 2600. Great name but in the one minute I played it couldn't figure out the goal but sure was fun shooting the guy out of the cannon.

  • Have it loose for the 2600. This was great fun playing with a friend. Very simple game like many back then but this one was very fun unlike a lot from the early days.

  • Have an Atari published version and a Sears published version, both are complete for the 2600. Fun game but didn't like this version too much.

  • Have it sealed for the 2600. As it is sealed, I haven't played it.

  • Have it loose for the 2600. Tried this with a friend but we couldn't figure it out in the minute we tried and so we moved on to another game. Read that it was a great game so I need to try it again and give it a fair shake.

  • Have it loose for the 2600 and also on Xbox Live Arcade. On 360 played this at a friend's house to get some easy achievement points and wound up not getting the last achievement. Well I'd try every time I'd be over there and just never played it enough to get it so wound up buying it and getting it soon after. Five dollars well spent...

  • Have it complete for the 2600. Seems like a really cool game considering when it came out but I have yet to play it.

  • Have it loose for the 2600. Played this game with a friend for about a minute and didn't like it much, maybe should give it more than a minutes shot at impressing me.

  • Have it complete for the Atari 2600. Bought this for a dollar April 28, 2010. It's worth noting this game was ported to the Atari 2600 as Super Challenge Baseball, which is the version I have and why it appears out of order on this list.

  • Have it loose for the 2600. Pretty fun game although it's kinda difficult to move and shoot, but I do like the uniqueness of the game due to this.

  • Have it complete for the 2600. Why do I need to go to an arcade when I can play pinball on my Atari?

  • Have it loose for the 2600. Is this hangman??? Pretty weird/fun game but never made it far.

  • Have it unopened for the 2600. Had a loose copy before and the graphics were impressive for a 2600 game and the gameplay was pretty good.

  • Have it complete for the Odyssey 2. I purchased these games October 21-23 after purchasing a Magnavox Odyssey 2 from a local pawn shop for eight bucks. After all, I needed games to play!

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision; I haven't played this game yet but I assume it really gets your blood flowing.

  • Have it loose for the Intellivision. Haven't played this game yet. I got my INTV at a garage sale a few years ago. It came with about a dozen games, this being one of them, and I haven't pursed an old TV or another method of playing my INTV as it doesn't work with any of the TVs I have. I have read about this game and it's sequel and really am looking forward to it.

  • Have it loose for the Intellivision. See above.

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision. Haven't played this yet but looks halfway decent.

  • Have it loose for the Intellivision. My INTV never worked with my TV so I still have yet to play this and I've always wanted too. It did work on my mom's TV before but it was a terribly grainy image so I'm not going to count that, but will still bring it up nonetheless. Like Advanced Dungeons & Dragons this is one of the games I am really looking forward to playing.

  • Have it loose for the Intellivision. I have played this game in Animal Crossing and liked it; enjoyed The King of Kong as well.

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision. Dunno about this one, not really looking forward to playing it.

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision. Pac-Man!?! Nope, this is just a clone. The Pac-Man port on the 2600 wasn't good so I wonder how this will be. Mattel touted the INTV as being superior to the 2600 so will that play into this?

  • Have a complete copy and another complete copy simply titled Football, although I know they're both the same game. Dunno why they published different titled versions, I guess they had the NFL license for a set amount of time/copies.

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision. A really old sports game, woo.

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision. Great name for a game, oh wait, what's it about? I hope this will be decent.

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision. Like NHL Hockey, a really old sports game, woo woo. Well this might be fun to see how they managed a bowling game on the INTV.

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision. Like NHL Hockey and PBA Bowling, a really old sports game, woo woo woo.

  • Have it loose for the Intellivision. Haven't played this yet, could be kinda fun.

  • Have it loose for the Intellivision. Haven't played this yet but I am looking forward to it. I loved the snake games on the old Motorola cell phones.

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision. This could be kinda fun.

  • Have two copies of this game, both for the INTV. One is in a red case and the other is in a blue case; they both are complete with box manual and controller overlays. Two INTV games that begin with space.

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision. Three INTV games that begin with space.

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision. You know, star is kinda the same as space.

  • Have it complete for the Intellivision. Looking forward to playing this game. Pretty influential and it has a purple case!

  • Have it loose for the NES. Really don't like this game but played it a good deal when I first tried it.

  • Have it complete for the NES. This is a terribly hard game. Spent about an hour trying to beat the first level and finally did. However I was playing on a cheap NES/SNES console and it doesn't have the NES controller ports, which means that I couldn't plug in the Zapper...

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't tried it yet but it looks kinda fun, similar to Gun.Smoke, ought to be quick as well so that's top on my games to play for the NES.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Pretty neat little game, will need to get around to beating it someday.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Like Air Fortress, another neat game right up my alley that I need to get around to beating.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Have had this for a year or two before I first tried it (2/9/10) and I really enjoyed it. Me and a friend played some of it and were surprised at how fun it was. Will definitely play it some more when friends are over.

  • Have it loose for the NES. I've played this a bit and from what I remember it's good looking with big sprites but kinda difficult

  • Have it loose for the NES. Sports game = meh. Sports game for NES = little more meh. Still will try it, maybe multiplayer to share the possible torture.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Have played it on the NES and in Animal Crossing and it's not that fun, pretty terrible actually.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Don't remember playing it but if has all these sequels it must have done something right.

  • Have it complete for the NES. See Bases Loaded.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Pretty fun game that I never played too much, probably won't either since I've got BC: Reamed sitting in my 360 that I need to start sometime...

  • Have it loose for the NES. Fun old game, played it a few times and is great for multiplayer as all hockey games are.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Great old game, SunSoft made many of them back then apparently, haven't played too much of it but definitely want to.

  • Have it complete for the NES. A really hard game towards the end, easily one of my favorites on the NES, such a cheesy game that fits the period well and isn't half bad. Wrote the page for it here so go check that out.

  • Have it complete for the NES. One of my first NES games and I think my first complete NES game, really enjoy the game but haven't beat it, graphics were great too.

  • Have it loose for the NES and on the GBA in the Classic NES Series. Have played the first few levels and never progressed anywhere, will have to go back and beat it, but on which platform...

  • Have it complete for the NES. Funny story when I bought this, the clerk was like "an NES bowling game?" and I was all like "yeah I fancy a bowling game on any console" and that was it, it was more awkward than I can describe it. Really good condition and the manual has a interesting article about the history of bowling, don't remember playing it though.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played this game a lot and it's an interesting old arcade game. Easy to play so I recommend it pretty highly, great fun to be had for cheap.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Really great NES game although I have barely put in any time. Definitely will go back and beat it.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Can't remember playing it but it has a great action-y title. Take it back, I remember it now and it was a fun side scrolling game, think it got hard though, maybe not.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't played too much in this game but remember that I didn't like it too much, prefer Ikari Warriors or Guerrilla War.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't played this yet. Bought it off of Amazon or eBay during one of my buying sprees. Looks crazy stupid, but hey thats one of the ingredients to make a great NES game.

  • Have it loose for the NES and on XBLA. Played this game a ton, have beat it a few times, beat it a few times in co-op. One of the best "old school" and is just great to play even so many years after its release.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't played this yet and it looks pretty dumb and considerably bad, but every game should get a fair chance so I'll at least try it... someday.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played this game pretty far in. Really enjoyed it. One of the best Zelda games that Nintendo didn't make.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't played this but man it's got a title up there with DYNOWARZ!!!!

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't played it but I hear it's really bad.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't beat it and can't say that I think it's that good of a game, but nonetheless I still have some urge to beat it. this is possibly due to it being of the first games I played on the NES.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Really bad game but still has some sentimental value to me, the dunking cut-scenes are funny and I thought they always meant you were going to make the dunk but that's not always the case.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Really fun game, does enough to justify it as more than just a Tetris clone. Had a lot of fun playing it with a friend, great multiplayer.

  • Have it loose for the NES. LOL, one of the first Dragon Ball games, if not the first, gets re-branded and you can definitely tell through the game it is though. When I first played it I was perplexed about it thinking that it was so similar. I remember it was pretty hard and not that great, still need to beat it.

  • Have it loose for the NES. I really like this game, almost beat it before by using the 20 lives cheat; interesting game and one of my favorite shooters and NES games, most likely due to the fact as it was one of the first of either that I played.

  • Have it loose for the NES. The first RPG I played on the NES and the first Dragon Warrior/Quest game I played. Love it although I have yet to beat it. I remember the summer after getting my NES at a garage sale playing it for a week pretty hardcore. Can't wait to go back and beat it, probably will make a weapons chart and bestiary.

  • Have it complete for the NES. OMG this game is so hard! Don't think I've got past the first part and really don't want to. Retro Gamer has said it is a really terrible game besides being super hard so I'll probably never beat this game. Might play it one more time though.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Love this game. Played it for an hour the first time I plugged it in and that's when I found out that most NES games don't save, so lost my high score... One of the first games I played on my NES.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Have played this before but don't remember anything about the game. The first non-licensed game I owned.

  • Have it complete for the NES. I played through this game and it wasn't that great, but man the story and just about everything about the game is nuts. Wrote the page for it here on Giant Bomb.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played it once, but just for info for the page here, might go back and try it some more.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Had low expectations for this game and man it turned out to be pretty decent, haven't played it much but will go back to beat it. Well my friend and I played this on Halloween 2011 and didn't get very far after a half hour with it. Tough game.

  • Have it complete for the NES and PSP. Haven't played the NES version yet but have gotten to the final dungeon in the PSP version. The maps and manual it came with on the NES is so cool, like a 100 page manual, so much info.
