In the comments on RockStar Games' article talking about the new DLC, RockStar has said there is no more DLC planned aside from what's already announced.

"The DLC that's listed is all of the content planned for L.A. Noire"

This seems strange considering all they have cut from the game before launch. But who knows? I know this is from Team Bondi, but it would be a shame if that was it.

Probably planned as in; planned before they receive numbers on sales and whether they should do more or not.

The amount of time and effort it must take them to record new dialogue is probably why that's all the DLC we're getting

I thought they had recorded enough dialog for two whole other desks or something? And if it's a matter of being too expensive to hire Aaron Stanton for more cases or something, they should make more Jack Kelso cases.

Really they should just make more Jack Kelso cases anyway.

@briangodsoe: They probably decided to cut a lot of the cases that didn't meet whatever standard of quality they keep, so I doubt we'll see most of that dialog resurface in DLC.

I hope Team Bondi keeps the DLC coming for a little while longer. We haven't seen any DLC coming out of Rockstar quite as long as either Story from Liberty City since, well, the Stories from Liberty City.

Maybe there was a misunderstanding and they only wrote that much dialogue and that many cases?

@Trebz: One of the things I was looking forward to was the prospect of more cases as DLC. Hopefully the operative word in their statement is "planned" as in planned at this time. If sales were high enough of the game it's self and the pass or the individual DLC then they might plan some new DLC.

They already released or are releasing a lot of DLC so when they are done they will talk more about the future of L.A Noire's downloadable cases.

Is anyone else hoping that the Reefer Madness case will use musical numbers from the 2005 Showtime movie? I'd be okay with them going out that way....

@RecSpec: Probably because getting more dudes into rooms with cameras and having them act out more cases is more expensive than your average DLC is and they want to hold off and see if people actually buy the upcomoing DLC.

Yup. That would be my guess too.
