Lautrec of Carim

Knight Lautrec of Carim is first encountered locked in a cell in the Undead Parish. The player may choose to free him here or leave him in the cell. If he is freed he will appear at the Firelink Shrine. Lautrec will eventually betray the player and kill the shrine's firekeeper. The player can choose to kill Lautrec before this happens but in order to acquire his armour they must allow him to kill the keeper and then invade his realm. Here they can defeat Lautrec and his minions to recover the keeper's soul. After Lautrec has been killed his armour, the Favor Set, will appear on a corpse sitting on a balcony in the room Ornstein and Smough are encountered.
