So, am I hearing things, or is that Tara Strong voicing Juliet Starling? If it's not, than she sounds just like her.
Lollipop Chainsaw
Game » consists of 8 releases. Released Jun 12, 2012
This deliberately ridiculous third-person action game stars Juliet Starling, a zombie-slaying cheerleader who's almost as handy with a chainsaw as she is with a pair of pom-poms.
Lollipop Chainsaw Hype Train. WHO IS WITH ME?
@Daveyo520: I'd rather hang out with him than most rockstars TBQH. Just the chance to pick his brain and see where all this comes from would be great. He is also a huge wrestling fan. Theres this great 1up video where hes talking about The Big Bossman his favorite wrestler and during the video finds out Bossman died a few years prior and is just shocked. Guy is awesome. Link to video i just mentioned below.
Really can't wait, everything I've seen for this game I love. I've kind of tried not to see too much as I want to be at least a little surprised.
I just watched Slither last night and realized how similar suda and james gunn's style are. i feel like theres going to be plenty of that off brand type of humor.
It looks OK. I don't have particularly high expectations for it, but oh well, I'll give it a go. Little else out coming out across the month that I'm interested in. Far as I can tell, July's completely bare as well. But then there's at least Darksiders II, Sleeping Dogs and the UK release of Tales of Grace F in August to make up for it. <3
EDIT: Ha, oh wait, there's also Lego Batman 2 coming out in June, too. Which I'm admittedly kinda looking forward to.
I appreciate that is going for something different and balls out crazy. I will wait and see how it turns out but I have high hopes for this title. I really enjoyed Shadows of a damned so am looking forward to this.
@Demoskinos: Even after the latest trailer? You have to use both your hands to count how many different mechanic it's attempting to blend together. There's a lot going on in that game, and thanks to that trailer it quickly rose to becoming one of my most anticipated games of the year in fact.
The marketing has kinda turned me off of the game, as well as what I've heard about Suda recently (that he's a lazy ass that doesn't actually work on his games anymore). I'll just wait 'til the game comes out and play it. I just want it to be over-the-top crazy like Killer7 and the original No More Heroes was. Suda's game since then have been pretty tame in comparison (which may be explained by his buying expensive sandals as opposed to actually working on his games).
