Yea I'm on my 3rd playthrough (Renegade/Insanity Run). The update for the mineral scanning has really made me consider going for a few more playthroughs just to play around with the other classes because I've only used Soldier and Infiltrator so far. Still a hell of a lot of fun.

nice, im playing as an adept lady shepard, ive had a thing for tali since the first game, whats under that suit???

Lost my desire to play about halfway through my second playthrough. Insanity isn't much fun. 
 
Might pick it back up this summer, but I don't have enough time at the moment. 

I just started on my second playthrough on insanity the other day. Its still fun I just don't want to listen to dialouge I've heard a million times.

I play it every once in awhile.  In my most recent playing, I chose to mine minerals as much as I could handle..  Thank God they made that stupid scanner faster on the 360 since that patch.

I've only done one playthrough.  I thought about doing a second playthrough as a saucy Renegade black woman that looks like Wanda Sykes, but then I realized that the voice actress wouldn't sound right for how I wanted my character to work.

Trying to get enough paragon to recruit Morinth. Pretty sure Im at the tale end and good thing because combat hasn't evolved at all. Super monotonous.

In the middle of my 2nd playthrough. Going as a vanguard changes the whole game for me.

i'm taking my time with my first playthrough. 
 
some parts of it are better, but i find the story less compelling than the original's.  i feel like cerberus is keeping a lot hidden from shepard and the threat is much less urgent...so i'm not as excited to advance the story. 
 
the combat is getting repetitive for me, too.  not boring, but repetitive.  it feels like a schizophrenic half-third-person-shooter, half-RPG rather than a seamless fusion of both and the shooting sequences aren't especially varied, imo.
 
all that said, i think it's excellent.  it's just not perfect.

I'm eventually going to play the game again after they finish releasing all the dlc. This will be my 4th playthrough.

I'm currently playing Mass Effect 1 as a lady so I can start a new game in Mass Effect 2 as a lady.

I can play ME1 over and over but for some reason I could only do ME2 once.

Planning on doing an Evil lady run pretty soon so yea.

Just finished ME2 with my imported Male-+/–Paragon-Adept Shepard.  Planning to go back to ME1 and make a new male that's not an adept or a Paragon and go through ME2 again with that character.

played through about 3 times,  gonna let it sit for a year and pop it back in when Mass Effect 3 details start to surface.

Started a second playthrough as a vanguard and that makes combat much more interesting, but the mining will probably stop me from finishing.

Second playthrough here, just have Legion to recruit now.

Not right now. S-Ranked Mass Effect 2 a while ago, of course that has been broken thanks to the Kasumi DLC. 
I've heard a few more big paid DLC are in future works, what I'll probably do is buy them all and then play them. Bioware has been pretty good with releasing DLC so far it seems, I would like them to ratchet up the amount because I can see longevity with Mass Effect that can be easily exploited. Fallout 3 was a game I played for practically a year, solely because of DLC, I would like to see the same style of commitment and consistent releases. 

I've completed it once (every side quest done, at least half the planets scanned, all planets visited - 40 hour playthrough), sometime I'm going to go back and play through it again.

I still have to go back and play that free DLC I downloaded about a month ago. Does anyone know if I can play the Zaed loyalty missions in the end game or do I need to restart and make a new game.
 
Also do people think the DLC missions will have any importance going forward to ME3? Grunt died during the final mission on my ME2 playthrough so I intended to go back and save him before ME3. I'm not really sure if I should do that before the DLC stuff to make sure the DLC stuff is on my save file going forward or just play through the DLC on a separate save and not have that carry through to the next game.

I never got the complaints about planet scanning. Is it really slow on the 360 or something? On the PC it was a little irritating having to lift the mouse a few times to get around a planet but overall it wasn't much of a chore.

Hell Yeah, Vanguard is the best class to play. Although it got super challenging for me at some parts on Insanity, i'm glad i chose Vanguard. "
