I mean this in terms of visual appeal, not attractiveness. Do not get me wrong Bioware bought the sexiness in the ME world but they also have some of the most unique and beautiful characters in any franchise around.

My best looking character is Grunt. The scales and texture details blows my mind. He looks incredible during most of the cut scenes and sticks out to me. My second choice Thane Krios the Drell assassin. His character is an enigma to me but besides that I think he has the best assassin black eyes I have seen.

I like Jack's design, the tattoos are insane!

Garrus, I think the turian design is just very cool. Plus he has that eye piece.

Wrex's model in ME3 is probably the best looking in terms of detail and poly-count, but I can't help but love everything about Thane's look. He's a believable, lizard-bipedal humanoid in a way that makes such a thing seem plausible.

Legion, I like that giant hole on his torso.

I love the Turian design, Saren and Garrus were very memorable characters. Too bad about the porn star female cast though, I can't really think of a memorable one beside Dr. Chakwas and I never liked Tali. 

Tali, because it's what's inside that counts.

Love the way all of the Geth look so I guess Legion.

Anyway, I think all of the aliens in Mass Effect are pretty well designed. I can't pick a single one.

I really like the design for Jaavik. His armor is awesome.

I like the designs of the geth, There are also some rejected designs for the geth in the art of the mass effect universe book that are also pretty awesome. There are also images of armorless krogan conceps in there.

I think all the humans look rubbish but all the aliens look great. But the best looking character is the Normandy.

I actually agree, Grunt looks great. I thought Wrex did too, in the first game. They did well with all of the Krogan.

They made his tusks be floppy like dog-ears in Mass Effect 3 and I'm not so down with that.

I liked the look of the Salarians best, in the first game. I still need to play the second and third games in the franchise. I know, I hate myself too.

Inidividual character; probably Wrex or Grunt.

This is a rare case where a game/franchise seemed to get all the different races right as they're all varied quite nicely from each other.

You know I thought they did a surprisingly good job on James' face. The human faces usually don't look that good.

I always found something impressive about the distinctiveness of Liara's face. It most cases people aren't that good at making human faces look different so they use the hair as a way to tell them apart. The Asari don't have hair. I think for the most part they do kind of all look the same but some how its pretty easy to pull Liara out of a crowd.

Well the Normandy is a combination of Turian and Human design.

To be honest, and mimic everyone else here, all the aliens look pretty damn great. But, just like so many here, Grunt pretty much takes it.

default male shepard is pretty well done, all the other humans in the game look like trash though.

Garrus is badass, because Turians are badass. Salarians are interesting looking as well. Thane is a shoe-in but that's a little unfair, because most of the time you see his design he's the only one who gets scenes of him as an insane slo-mo kung-fu super badass.

I'm gonna have to agree with you on Grunt. There's just something about the way he's designed that makes him look awesome.

She's the only Asari with eyebrows.

That is why I really like Mordin: he looks like he has seen some bad shit in his days. Garrus in ME3 is really scarred up nicely too. The big slash across Wrex's face is great too.

For character design I really like the Turians and the Drell. Both are quite expressive despite being totally alien looking.

The first time I saw Wrex was when I really wanted Mass Effect and its 80s sci-fi brilliance, I wish the art design was still the nostalgic way it was in ME1, I hate what happened to it as the series progressed. It became all gritty and modern.
