The long-awaited third Max Payne game finally arrived in May 2012, courtesy of Rockstar Vancouver. Eight years after the end of Max Payne 2, an aging, burnt-out Max finds one last chance to redeem himself while working as a bodyguard for a rich family in Brazil.
Am I the only one that thinks its false advertisement when they say "from the makers of GTA and Red Dead Redemption", I thought it was the Bully guys that made this game.

It's a little confusing, but Rockstar doesn't really have just one studio working on games these days.
For example, the art director is Rob Nelson who also worked on Red Dead (R* San Diego) and GTA IV (R* North).
Dan Houser is the lead writer (who wrote Bully, Red Dead, and all of the GTA games) and Rupert Humphries (GTA IV) and Michael Unsworth (Red Dead) are co-writers.
The lead designer for multiplayer was also the multiplayer lead on Red Dead and GTA IV.
The lead audio guy was also the audio lead for GTA IV and Red Dead.
And so on and so forth. I'd guess there are more crossovers like that. Hell, even Leslie Benzies (one of the main guys from R* North behind the GTA series) is an executive producer on this along with the Houser brothers.
I just think it's pretty interesting when they get a band, someone that doesn't do music for a film or game, but does it well when it comes time to do so. Like Daft Punk on Tron: Legacy, that was great.
