    Media Create have issued hardware sales figures for the Week period of April 26th - May 2nd.  The PSP was the top selling platform for the period, doubling its sales from the week prior:

    1. PSP: 59,315 (28,758)
    2. PS3: 32,874 (25,629)
    3. Wii: 30,757 (23,691)
    4. DSi LL: 25,569 (16,676)
    5. DSi: 15,628 (10,640)
    7. Xbox 360: 4,943 (2,214)
    6. DS Lite: 4,068 (2,789)
    8. PSP go: 1,890 (1,544)
    9. PS2: 1,577 (1,490)

    a little late in the post, but these numbers are not a surprise. The PSP sells well in Japan all the time
