I'm new to Minecraft and I need a little help. I'm playing on easy but every night that I try to sleep I am awakened by a zombie attacking me. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I'm in a house that is well lit with all entry ways closed. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

DO not put the bed flush with the wall.

Is your bed right up against the wall? If so try leaving a space.

This was eventually fixed in the PC version, but yes do not put your bed against a one block wall.

Place a bunch of torches all over the place too, took me forever to figure out the problem too until the tip popped up about monsters not spawning close to the light sources. Was having a hard time with building a castle above a lake when monsters would sometimes spawn in those areas. Once I littered the area with lit torches & plenty of open areas (for future windows) for sunlight, the monsters stopped showing up so frequently.

Make sure your house isn't made out of dirt blocks. I kept n during but when I cover everything with stone blocks or something else like that it stopped.
