     Robert Bowling just confirmed a patch is in testing on his twitter
     
    @fourzerotwo #MW2  Update in Test now: 1887s Balanced. Public "private" Match fix. Infinite Ammo fix. Prestige Hack on PS3 fix. Texture Hack on PC fix. 
     
    So there you go fix in the works just thought I would tell those of you who are too lazy to check yourselves.

    Mind you testing is not certification which on its own takes a few days so at this point assuming the patch has no issues in testing will hopefully be out sometime early next week

    Oh man that play list glitch was getting real old fast, but i did find one amazing game of domination in Quarry that lasted over an hour.
    Fun tip for Rust in those crazy games while they last is camping up top beside the ladder half way and shooting the "smartasses" that climb up to camp the top. Seems the frenzy of it all makes them skip thier kill-cams. Got 3 chopper gunners out of it. In one game, still lost by an obnoxious amount mid you.

    The best bit about this patch by far is the 1887's fix.  They were just stupid, they need to double the amount of time between shots at least. 
     
    How did they allow a 120 year old gun to be the best weapon in the game? sillyness.

    I wouldn't say its necessarily the rate of fire that largely causes the 1887's to be troublesome. I'd mostly say its just the accuracy and range it has when used akimbo that is rather silly, similar to the akimbo Rangers.

    I think the number is a bit less.
     
    Also I like playing the private match glitch (unlimited ammo one anyways). Not for ranking up, more rather just killing shit in a hilarious manner and be care free.

    They pretty much had to, people were pissed. Ever look at InfinityWards forums? People say some shit has started on Giant Bomb but, we've got nothing on the shitstorm that is the IW forums.

    1887s balanced!? Wow, I really can't wait for this patch. If anything was hindering my MW2 experience it was this.

    About damn time those 1887s were balanced out. But i have more issues with the private "public" games, sick of getting pulled into 18 player Rust FFA.
