Seriously...does anybody find that it just constantly rotates between 3-4 maps and some maps you rarely see?

The map rotation is getting on my nerves
" Seriously...does anybody find that it just constantly rotates between 3-4 maps and some maps you rarely see? "lol, matchmaking
On the first weekend I played it, Karachi was near enough every other map. I assumed this was an opening weekend problem but the last time I played it in 2009, I played that map 4 times back to back. The map rotation is just a symptom of the terrible matchmaking.
Not really. I only play Ground War, but I feel like I've been on each map (except Rust because it's not offered in Ground War) an equal amount of times. I do feel that I play the same map repeatedly within a single game session though. I will play Estate on Team Deathmatch, then some other map, then Estate on Domination, within a single game session. The next time I play though, I won't see Estate at all.
Pretty much yeah, the only map I enjoy that I do get a reasonable amount is Terminal. Still love the game though.
Yeah, I've noticed it. I would kill to be able to get a match in on Favela or Terminal every once in awhile.
A couple of weeks back, I was in a session in Ground War where we played a TDM game on Quarry. Once that game finished, the next map on deck was Domination on Quarry. When the vote to skip was passed, it threw us in a game of TDM on Quarry. =\
Other than that unfortunate night, I actually don't mind matchmaking that much. I don't get to play on Rust that often, though. As small as Rust is for 12+ people, I think it's really fun with that amount of people. Really hectic. Easily get 20+ kills.
What I do have a problem with when it comes to matchmaking is the fact that on more than one occasion, it has dumped me in a game where the opposing team is literally on 7400 and as soon I pop in the game ends in my team's defeat, and me not being able to do anything about it. Hell, this one time, it put me in a game where at first I thought that I was spectating someone. I picked my class without thinking much of it. As I did that, I realized that what I was watching was actually the match winning killcam. And yup. Turns out I was on the losing team. Awesome.
I think it kind of does, but it isn't cycling 3-4 maps, it just leaves out one or two. I played a bunch last night and Wasteland showed up and I had a little "whoa, I haven't played on this map all night" moment. I think Wasteland and Derail are the ones most skipped by my MW2 experience, but I'm playing Ground War a lot, big maps for big games. Just seems odd that I don't see more of those 2.
I always get maps like Afghan and Wasteland when i want to play close range knifing, its so annoying! And then when i actually want to snipe i never get wasteland. ¬¬
This is what I miss about servers and PC gaming. A lot of these shooters I only end up liking a few maps and would have a lot better time if I could just play those maps. I used to do this with Call of Duty 1 and 2 and Battlefield 1942. Now I have to sit through stuff I just don't want to play sometimes. That sucks.

" @HandsomeDead said:You're preaching to the choir. I wouldn't mind it coming up half as much if it was bareable but it's so tedious." I dunno, I guess I get to play each map a pretty even amount of times, its just that sometimes the map rotation gives you the same map back to back (with different gametypes), which sucks. Somehow, barely anyone tries to "vote to skip" the maps. Also, I have never played Rust either. I was reading a thread about peoples' favorite maps, and when I saw Rust a few times I was literally like "Wait a minute... what the hell is Rust?"
