yea i cant even buy the new map pack since, when ever i try to buy points on the computer or xbox i get an error or it says its too busy

Good.  You shouldn't be buying the map pack anyway.  Go put the $15 towards Battlefield.

Yeah, we had several people bringing points cards back to the store saying they weren't working. Finally we got an e-mail stating that Xbox Live was validating slowly or something. So, some of those lucky punks might end up with a free $20 in points. Go  them.
 
Most likely this is simply the sheer number of people trying to validate points card codes breaking the servers.

ha, that is funny. $15 for 5 maps is kind of expensive.

You should spend your money on something worth while instead. 
 
Steam is selling the Quake Collection for $15. That's 3 full games and 5 expansions. 
 
Then again MW2 kiddies probably don't even remember Quake, even if they're based on the same engine.
 
PS: Anyone who thinks BF2 was the pinnacle of DICE games belongs back in 2004 with the rest of the BF2 fundamentalists protesting 2142 and killing the BF franchise first hand, instead of sitting here whining because they directly influenced the current console-focused state of their beloved messiah franchise. yea what he said :) . but i finally got the maps and they are pretty sweet. i dont know about 15 bucks but they are a nice way to make the game feel fresh again
