    Mind-Blowing.

Yes I think we all absolutely loved Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, well most of us anyway, and making a game better than that would be a downright amazing achievement. Crazily enough Infinity Ward has somehow managed to do this and more.

Sure Modern Warfare 2 seems a little over blown and incredibly gamey in points. And sure there are the inevitable glitches in the Multiplayer mode, but even with these, this game is the funnest experience I have had with an controller in my hands. The Multiplayer has all the same game modes with some added features and a wide-range of maps that allow all playing styles are suited in some place or another. One of the funnest additions to the game is the Throwing Knife. It has already provided some hilarious kill cams for my friends and I. Multiplayer in short is better.

The story mode is again wildly over done and nearly everything in the story is over blown and un-realistic. But all of this is made up for by the Special-Ops mode. A single player or two player mode, preferably the co-op variety, Special-Ops adds an all new dimension to the First Person Shooter game genre. This is by far the best addition from the previous game, it has provided over 20 hours of game-play and the efforts to get the last 4 stars I need are endless.

All in all this game is Bigger and Better than the previous Modern Warfare and the wait was well worth it. I think for me this game is going to hard to beat for the 2009 Game of the Year, at least my list anyway.

A Big, Bad 5 Star game.

Entertaining singleplayer, addictive multiplayer & co-op to boot! 0

Modern Warfare 2 takes place five years after the events of of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Despite your best efforts, the ultra-nationalist have wrangled control of Russia proclaiming Zakhaev, everyone's favourite one-armed bad guy, as a national hero and political martyr. As in previous Call of Duty games, you step inside the body of several distinct characters over the course of  the campaign's five to seven hours of gameplay. Though entertaining, the story itself twist and turns so radica...

      Even more Modern Warfare-r 0

Coming into Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, I had a high set of expectations, primarily set by Infinity Ward's previous game; Call of Duty 4. CoD4 came completely out of left field for me, revitalising my interest in what I believed to be a tired, played-out franchise; the change of setting, compelling campaign, and addictive multiplayer making it one of my top 5 games of 2007. Riding in on this wave of euphoria and excitement Modern Warfare 2 had a lot to live up to.   The campaign follows a si...
