    + Fantastic Single Player Experience 
    + Great Gameplay 
    + Tight engine 
    - Micheal Bay style writing and directing 
    - The "Hi-then-bye" style of Multiplayer  

    I admit, when it came to Modern Warfare 2, I was one of the biggest skeptics around. I couldn't stand Activision, and I couldn't stand all of the mindnumbing hype the game kept receiving. While the hype still stands as something that's full of bullshit, the game did hold up to claims of it being one of the best games of 2009.

      Coming into Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, I had a high set of expectations, primarily set by Infinity Ward's previous game; Call of Duty 4. CoD4 came completely out of left field for me, revitalising my interest in what I believed to be a tired, played-out franchise; the change of setting, compelling campaign, and addictive multiplayer making it one of my top 5 games of 2007.
