I had the same thing (as for Dead Rising 1, ME1 and BanjoKazooie too).

The only solution seems to be going with HD tv's and all that jazz.
I just worked my way through :(

Using a HDTV isn't going to do much in this situation. In those games the text was designed for HD resolutions. The Wii is not a HD console.

Er, what? Are you saying this Wii game is supposed to feature unreadable text? :F

As for the OPs problem, upgrade cable to S-Video, RGB or component.

No I was responding to the guy above, saying that using a HDTV fixed his problem with unreadable text in HD games. The reason it's unreadable in those games is because it was designed to be read in HD without consideration for lower resolutions.

I don't have a solution for the problem, I just didn't think the suggestion to go and get a HDTV was a helpful one.

I don't think my T.V has those inputs, maybe I will just upgrade my T.V?

An RGB scart cable for your Wii might help. It depends if your TV can take in RGB though.

Is that so? I didn't know.
I suspected that a tv made for HD resolutions would fix it.

I sit normally pretty close-I have glasses that are absurdly powerful and am 15. I would advise you not to.

When tube TV's get older they lose their sharpness, so it means yours is at an end.

An HD tv is going to make this game look worse. I had it hooked up to my 52" Toshiba and it looked like ass because it's only 420i and 420p at best with component cables. Everything is getting stretched and blown up to fit on the larger screen. The Wii simply doesn't support HD resolution. This game looks infinitely better on my 27" SD TV and yeah the text is still really small. It's either have larger pixelated text and rough aliased graphics, or smaller crisp text, with smoother crisper textures. I just sat closer to the tv.
