After messing around for a while, it has become clear that Ermac has such an unbelievably sweet launch attack, coupled with the teleport punch that he is now my favorite on the roster. I suck horribly, but I'm ripping off massive combos easily. Just the flow of the launchers and teleports together makes him such a breeze. He "seems" like he would be a higher skill level type character because it looks complicated, but the motions come together really smooth for me.
Anyone else experienced Ermac euphoria?

One of the goriest fighting game franchises returns to its roots, introducing a new story that re-tells the events of the first three Mortal Kombat games (with a unique twist).
ERMAC! The official "I suck but I just did that combo" character
I like Ermac's second outfit a lot.
Yeah... I kind of discovered this about him when I going through some of the characters in training.
Yeah I like him a lot. I'm probably going to use him online whenever PSN is back up.
I am more of a smoke player, I have talked about it in other threads but my only complain with smoke is I keep doing his teleport attack when I'm trying to sweep and I still can't tell if it's a lag issue or it's really my hands doing a down to back forward motion without thinking about it. I was showing my friend the first 15 minutes of the game last night and I found the second time through that cage has some easy combos as well but I still haven't played as Ermac.
I like Ermac as a bit more of a ranged fighter. His force push and his grab both facilitate a ranged strategy by pushing your opponent away. I find some of the combos that require you to hold back a little difficult to land sometimes, so my up-close game with him isn't very strong. He's sort of the opposite of Scorpion in this respect.
Yeah, I discovered the same thing about Ermac. Matter-of-fact, I went through the entire roster and tried to figure out what characters have easy-ish combos. Ermac was definitely one, so was Kung Lao, Scorpion, and Kitana. I'm sure there are more, but those are the few that jumped out at me right off the bat.
Easy isn't really a bad thing, because it doesn't mean that the player will be good with him. And it even makes it easier considering anyone who isn't actually good with him that uses him will be really predictable and a easily read player. I felt the same thing when I picked up Scorpion.
