A bonus game occurs when playing a game (usually in arcade games). Players do something to get a "free game". Pinball machines almost always call these "specials". It could be getting a certain score, getting a rare item, or doing some specific task.
Bonus levels, rounds, or stages give players a chance to gain extra points, powerups, or lives. Occasionally bonus stages will play completely different than the rest of the game, like as a slot machine or pinball minigame.
Get caught by a monster or getting squished by an apple.
A destructible environment means the player has the ability to destroy his/her surroundings. This allows players to use the environment to their advantage.
Digging is a strategic mechanic of many games. Digging allows the ability to unearth valuables and strategize pathways.

Depending on the country, a song enters public domain after a certain number of years after release or after the death of the writer. In the United States, it is 95 years after release.
When you're able to push a block you know it's a videogame. Usually used to solve puzzles.
A level in which everything is displayed on-screen at once, with no scrolling, flip screen, or 3D movement. Many '80s games consist entirely of single-screen levels.
