I'm just wondering if any of you duders are going to buy the PC version of this game. So far I know I'm the only one of my friends thats getting it for pc, so I hope maybe some of you are?

If I get it then yes, it will be on PC. The only console release I plan on playing (and not necessarily at launch) is Halo 4.

I've been leaning towards PC, but no steam is a killer, especially in a game that will probably be best with lots of friends playing. I hardly have anyone on origin. EA really needs to just move on.

I'm getting PC, origin tag is lordofultima. I can't resist the framerate and resolution. IMO, Paradise was only so excellent because of 60fps. If console versions are 30, the sense of speed isn't the same.

Both consoles run it at 60 fps locked in Paradise. Also I'll add you to Origin soon.

Been thinking about getting the PC or the 360 version. Going to wait till after I finish Assassin's Creed 3 though. If the Wii U version is out close to the Wii U launch I might get that version. Hmm...

I'll probably get it on PC when its like 19 bucks. Not day one for any system though. I bought NFS:Hot Pursuit on 360 last year and only did like 3 races before I stopped playing it.

Does it actually run at 60 fps on PC? I got The Run last year and it was locked at 30 and I'm pretty sure Hot Pursuit was locked at 30 as well. Has EA confirmed you can run this game at 60 fps on PC?

If it has split screen local multiplayer i'll get it on PS3. If not, I'm getting it on PC. Will it support split screen multiplayer on consoles? I've done some research and didn't find anything.

Hot Pursuit was locked to 30 on consoles, not on PC. Link.

The Run was indeed locked to 30 on all platforms (though apparently it can be unlocked on PC through some community patch or whatever).

No, I will be getting this for multiplayer so I will be picking up the xbox version - 30fps is disappointing but I will settle for more in game muliplayer matches

I saw the game at Eurogamer running on PC and it blows the console version away. I played the PS3 version and you can immediately tell the difference between the two.

Is there are police campaign in there? Loving the look of styled up police cars.

Yeah I pre-ordered the PC version off of Amazon. I can only speak for myself but I have more problems with Steam than I have ever had with Origin.

Don't buy from GMG. They think the release date is Nov 1st, something I only saw after I'd placed my order. Attempting to get a refund... it's not easy.

I bought it from GMG and have been playing it for 3.5 hours already (No VPN).

EDIT: With some digging around, I think it's out on Oct. 30th for North America, Nov. 1st for Australia and EU Nov. 2nd.

So how is it i see it is up on amazon digital, does it seem worth buying?

I've been watching the Itmejp stream on twitch. Seems like a consoley port, looks pretty but no multimonitor support, etc. It convinced me to buy it but that's only because I rather enjoyed Hot Pursuit and this seems like a proper sequel.

@thabigred: I do like the idea of 60 frames and I don't mind Orgin it's really not that bad.

I came in expecting some Burnout paradise openess to the game but when you start a race, there are checkpoints you HAVE to go through so you really dont have the choice of picking your own roads. I also hate the police chases too outside of the races, they are pretty pointless in my opinion. So far those are my only complaints since I only clocked in 3.5 hours. Like I said just wait for the quick look, Jeff seems to like the multiplayer according to his tweet.

I'd like to be able to play it at 120 fps since I have a 120hz monitor but it's not that big a deal. My biggest hangup is Origin, but I'm willing to deal with Origin for good games. I'd really like multimonitor support to stream the game but that's not a huge hangup either.

I'm installing it right after I reply here, will report back if I have huge technical issues.

Hot Pursuit was locked at 60 not 30, The Run was the one stuck at 30 (Split Second was also guilty of that crime).

I agree with this comment, i enjoyed Hot Pursuit and Paradice a lot and so far this game fails to thrill me on either sides of those spectrums. I feel like the original Most Wanted was superior so far. I didn't really play any multiplayer; tried but it only hooked me up with one other random dude and there wasn't much to that experience.

Hopefully a full multiplayer server will blow me away,because so far i'm pretty disappointed.

I can actually confirm the game does have multimonitor support, at least for me. I guess JP was having technical issues. Game looks dope, little bit of tearing but that's to be expected.

Game is a lot more technically demanding than I was expecting. Getting slowdown here and there.

Same. I was pretty surprised; I'm only running at 1680x1050, yet on my GTX 670, the framerate noticeably dips when I'm going fast. I wonder if it's a driver issue, because this really shouldn't be happening.
