Seeing as the Nintendo DS has been around for quite some time and the 3DS doesn't really have any games worth playing, which games would you consider must plays? The only DS games I have played are the first 3 Ace Attorney games and Pokemon.

I'll put my vote in for one of the DS Castlevania-games.

Dawn of Sorrow is one of the best handheld games, period. Few games can hold a candle to its brilliance. Also, Mario Kart DS is super addictive. Highly recommend both of those games.

Pokemon is required on every handheld Nintendo system. Mario Kart's pretty neat too.

It's likely we'll see Pokemon Gray released next year, I'd say you're best to hold out for that rather than jumping on now.

Other than that, all of the Castlevania games are great, Radiant History, Anno: Create a New World/Dawn of Discovery, and Dragon Quest IX (also IV, V and VI, if you can find them).

I'd also have recommended Mario Kart, if the new 3DS one wasn't coming out shortly.
