What about a lime green DS Lite cooking bundle for Mother's Day?

Looking for that special Mother's Day gift?

    No Caption Provided
    What about this then?

It comes with quite possibly the worst colour for a DS I have seen yet (my opinion), lime green, a lovely special case and a Personal Trainer Cooking cart.  It is available in the US on May 3rd.

Nothing says I love you mum, more than something that essentially says, you can't cook, so here you go.

Why not compliment it with a new Personal Trainer: Walking DS cart later in the month, and tell she is fat as well :-)

If you really love mum, buy her a damn DSi instead!

I don't know about you, but my mother is not getting this.  What about your mum?

My mum wouldn't getting a DSi from me before I get one for me.  I'm selfish like that. :P  She's mostly deaf and has bad eyesight anyway.

Nothing like telling your Mom, "You still follow the common female stereotype," with a bundle including Personal Trainer Cooking.

Worst color? I would say that award goes to the robins egg or aqua or whatever the hell color blue the DSi launched in. I went in to the store wanting to get something other then black, but that awful blue was the only other option.

Anyways, that's way to much to spend on Mom, though some of her meals lead me to believe she may need it. :o

My mom has never been into hand held games so that would be a big NO.

The Kermit green color is really disturbing...

What a horrible gift. Let's just imagine for a moment that maybe your mom's cool with getting cookbooks and such for Mother's Day. Would she really want to use it with such an ugly DSi?

Hmm, I think my moms would struggle with learning how to use it.

That colour is a good one to have in the kitchen, lime green implies cleanliness. It may not be to our tastes, but mothers would like it.

Yeah, this was my first thought after seeing it. I think that whoever came up with the idea for this bundle really need to check his/her priorities.

Also, for about the same price you can get a DSi with 1000 Nintendo points... and in a collor that won't hur tyour eys.

Is it? I don't think I've ever actually seen that lime green in any kitchens. But if people do indeed like that, that's great.

I think there are far nicer variations on the colour green that would have looked better, but you are right, generations have different colour tastes.  Reminds me way too much of the 70s.  It just needs a burnt orange something to go with it and it is That 70's Show all over again :P

You would be better off getting her something like a DSi (with the new features she can mess around with) and 100 Classic Book Collection & Brain Age maybe?

I wouldn't suggest to my mom or grandmother that they need a DS game to teach them to cook...

My mother is a great cook, she doesn't need some freaky Japanese instruction game.
