" Just keeping in touch with other about what we are playing at he moment.I used to have Mario and Luigi BIS, but now I have Spirit Tracks in thar.I have gone into a bit of a game limbo for the DS. I was playing Advance Wars Drak Conflict for a really long time and now I just can't get into one that occupies me endlessly. Civilisation Revolution did it for a while, as did Dragon Quest IV, but currently I am trying Phoeonix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All. I got it cheap and it is different. I think I will enjoy this. However, Lunarr Genesis (Lunar Dragon Song) has suddenly leapt out at me and is tempting me to try it again after a couple of years of sitting on the book shelf. So the question is, what is occupying the slot in your DS at the moment?"
Nintendo DS

The Nintendo DS is a handheld featuring two screens, one of which is a resistive touchscreen. Four different models are available: the original DS, the DS Lite, the DSi, the DSi XL.
What game is currently occupying the slot in your DS?

" An R4 chip. What? I want to run all my backups, yo. Totally what I'm up to. "Exactly the reason I want one, plus, those damn games with one save file (like The World Ends With You and many more) would be available for all in the house to play. Damn, I need to import one before Nintendo manage to make them illegal everywhere. "
I got mine at a sketchy Chinese mall out waaaaaaaay out in the suburbs (actually kinda beyond my city's limits too). It was an epic two-three hour pilgrimage via subway and bus, but it was kinda worth it. It's neat, because running pirated games isn't all it can do, swapping out saves is a great feature (I do this with pokemon, which I actually bought the year before), and it also works like a gameshark did, you can have cheats on any of your games, and that was kindof neat, because I used those so much as a kid. Kinda fun to go back to it for a while.
Not only that, but my favourite and most used feature of the R4? Emulation! Dude I can play SNES, NES and Genesis games on my freaking DS. It's so awesome, but also a little glitchy. Also someone made a sweet music composition software, and with the right samples, I made chiptunes on it. So much fun.
I'm only a tad annoyed because I'm waiting for a DSi XL (I currently have a launch DS, owch), and I'll need some new kinda cart.
I picked up Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth yesterday. I was going to buy at a Fry's, but unfortunately they weren't going to get it until Thursday. I did find it a Gamestop on my way home, though. Funny thing about that Gamestop was that as soon as I walked in, prerecorded message played saying that I was being monitored and recorded for my protection. I haven't seen this at other stores....
I have been solidly grinding my way through Dragon Quest V for quite a while now. I mean grinding. This is a great JRPG and levelling up is addictive. This is a great game in the series and perhaps a full remake for the Wii would be worth it. I am 25 hours into playing it, and just about to become King. The desire to complete it is strong, but with Fire Emblem arriving in the mail next week, I will have my inner strength tested, as Fire Emblem is my favourite series of all time.
Got Pokemon SoulSilver the day it came out and I've played 60 hours and about to go to kanto right now.
Mine is currently Knights in the Nightmare, which despite completing all the tutorials I still don't know how to play.
" SouleffingSilver. 3 days owned, 20 hours of my life lost. "@falco_eagle said:

Pokemon Platinum.
Its the only game i ever bothered to own... and im not much of a pokemon fan anymore lol
Layton 1 at the moment, but I've finished it and haven't touched my DS for weeks. I just ordered Layton 2 online, so hopefully that soon :D
I can't believe it - I talked about how many hours I have played Advance Wars: Dual Strike in a blog, which was 490 hours I think, and now a couple of weeks later, I am up to 530 hours. I am playing the campaigns again, for the trophies. I need to play normal and hard 3 times each. I am up to the 2 last chapters of normal, plus another about half way through, plus about half through the 2nd hard. I don't think I will ever get this game out of my system.
