A heads-up display is a graphical overlay of vital information used in most modern games.

The shark is an underwater animal that is often stereotyped for its vicious killing of prey. In video games, they are used as enemies in underwater levels or a plot device used to keep the player away from the ocean.
A gameplay plot twist in the form of revealing non-human monsters to battle after fighting more realistic human enemies for the majority of the game.
A bar, usually at the bottom of the screen, which tells you what direction enemies, locations, or main quests are.
