    Parasite Eve is a strange, slightly innovative game. You can tell playing this game that Square tried to do something without putting too much money on it. First, they took the story of a popular japanese horror novel, inserted it into the game, then mixed a Resident Evil system of weapon management with an rpg leveling system, and finished with a battle system highly influenced by action rpg's.
