    Never! My idea of cleaning it is buying a new one.

    Just cleaned out my laptop a couple of days ago. Before the cpu temp would go up to the 70s now it stays in the 40s *thumbs up*

    Once every month or so I'll take apart my PC and give it a good clean.

    I'd say a few times a year. Not too often, really.

    My antec 1200 case has some nice dust filters which keep things pretty clean, but i'll give it a go over with a can of compressed air maybe once a month when I clean the filters.

    The thing is, imagine whats happening to your consoles.  You can't even open those things to clean em out.

    Laptop = never
    Desktop = not as often as I should.
    I've got an Antec 900 case which is good for airflow but the fan over my cpu (i7 920 @ 4ghz) and my graphics card fan (Ati 5870) suck in more dust than a freaking hoover! I've got filters on my case intake fans now and hoover the front of the case every couple of weeks to get the dust off them but I really should take the side panel off and give it a good clean.
    Trouble is, longer i leave it, the more scared I am of seeing how bad its got. Oh well time to bite the bullet I guess. Thanks for the thread, you've given me the kick in the ass I need to get it done!!!
