Duders, I need a new GPU and don't have a lot to spend right now. I have a 500W PSU, so it's not an issue. I just want your guys opinions so I am not making any bad decisions or oversights. I am leaning towards a gt 640, but any feedback is appreciated. Thanks much!

Need a GPU($100 budget)
Here are the Tom's Hardware benchmarks for a GT 640, and here are the Tom's Hardware benchmarks for a 7750 and 7770.
Just at a quick glance the HD 7750 seems like the better card and it could run pretty much anything provided your CPU doesn't bottleneck it and you don't mind lower settings and lower resolutions, and the HD 7750 costs about $100

Holy shit.
Is that legit?
(Hey, that rhymes!)
@believer258: it's real, but local only, if they had stock near me I'd be buying a few.
I wouldn't waste money on a 640, wait for something better on sale, or buy a used one.
This could be useful, but I try to never just rely on one source.

This. I will also add that I recently got a Zotac and I'm really happy with the card. I'll definitely go for them next time I need an upgrade.

the 680 reference card. Quiet and cold, just how I like them :)

I shop at one of their brick-n-mortar locations all the time, and their prices are usually pretty nuts. They're the cheapest I've seen.
