Upcoming 2009/2010 PC games your looking foward to and why?
I wanna see how these turn out, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm already hyped. Diablo 3, Thief 4, Deus Ex 3, Call of Juarez 2, several space MMORPGs in development, Armed Assault 2, Operation Flashpoint 2, Battlefield 3, Street Fighter IV, Assassin's Creed 2, Divine Divinity 2, the RPG from Piranha Bytes, Age of Decadence, Mount&Blade: Warband, a ton of indie games, freebies, and mods that I can't remember (like Neotokyo, omg, it's resurfaced ready for release!!!111), and other titles I likely forget as I didn't put much thought in this post.

"Yea I wanna see how the games on my list turn out as well, since I def don't plan on purchasing all of them, (only if I won the lottery lol), but I'll def be keeping an eye on them ^^
Jman, you named most of mine although i'll just put in my list:
- Bioshock 2 (loved the 1st one)
- Modern Warfare 2 (loves the fir- i mean 4th one)
- Left4Dead 2 (second time's a charm?)
- Mass Effect 2 (loved the first one)
- Bad Company 2 (like the 360 concept and always wanted it on PC, now its coming)
- Battlefield 1943 (miltiplayer only for cheap...)
- Assassin's Creed 2 (liked the first one, sort of repetitive, nvm, LOTS of repetiveness, but story wes killer)
- Lost Planet 2 (again, second time's a charm?)
- Diablo III (looks like a good RPG?)
- Epesode 3 perhaps???
- Project Black Mesa if that mod ever releases...
Anything made by BioWare (ME 2, DAO, SWTOR)
Anything non-WoW made by Blizzard (D3, SC2)
Lego Universe.
That's about it.
STALKER Call of Pripyat...
Cause the first one was pretty cool, a bit frustrating at times but still.
Playing Clear Sky currently.
ArmA II, because
Apart from the obvious (Diablo 3, Starcraft 2) I'm also really looking forward to Anno 1404, which is out next week. The game looks absolutely fantastic and the demo played like a real Anno game should. Also waiting to give Supreme Commander a spin :) Cities XL and Elemental: War of Magic are somewhat lower on the list.
- Alpha Protocol (I like spy games and RPG's)
- The Agency (This game looks like it just MIGHT be different than your traditional grindfest MMO)
- Diablo 3 (Never played much of the previous ones, but this one looks pretty sweet)
- Jumpgate Evolution (Freelancer MMO!)
- Guild Wars 2 (Loved the original, still play it sometimes)
- Dragon Age: Origins (Looks like a really deep RPG experience)
- Assassin's Creed 2 (Liked the first one, and everything that I didn't like seems to be addressed here)
- Duke Nukem Forever (I can dream, right?)
" Anything made by BioWare (ME 2, DAO, SWTOR)Anything non-WoW made by Blizzard (D3, SC2)Lego Universe.That's about it. "
Adding Dawn of Discovery to my list, I just noticed this game, looks great.
Removing it now because of the tree install limit.
-The Giantbomb iphone application........
-Dragon Age - Something to stop me playing Icewind dale 2 and Baldur's gate would be nice.
" -The Giantbomb iphone application........-Dragon Age - Something to stop me playing Icewind dale 2 and Baldur's gate would be nice. "I hear on good authority it has boning... As will Dragon Age.
I am personally holding out hope that Arkham Asylum will hold up. Starcraft 2 looks good, and any Telltale stuff they can throw at me.
-Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (never played a good wild wild west game)
man I had the totally opposite experience with Kane and Lynch, I was really hyped up for it too, me personally I feel the game felt like it was in like an alpha state or something. But everyone has they're own perspective, I'll give the second a try when it comes out^^
still don't kno how it sold a million but as long as the players enjoyed it^^
