What is your screen resolution?
It has the same tilt as your notebook and it's very thin. I think it would make a good display if you can hdmi out. It's 1080p, 2ms and a high 10000000 :1 dynamic contrast ratio, static contrast ratio is probally only 1000:1, however it's a good suggestion.
" The screen in my notebook is a 15.4" 1440x900 screen. I couldn't replace it with a higher res one because its a notebook. "He was offering you a free monitor! Why would you screw it up like that?
No matter, you can still hook up your notebook to the new monitor. Don't worry, no thanks necessary.
" I was surprised to see that most of my PC games seem to support this resolution. "Really? Maybe they were older games?
I can't imagine recent PC games with no 1920*1200 support, even though 16:9 and 1920*1080 is gaining more ground.
"Yeah I run 2560x1600 as well"
Also you left out X1600 rez, I know hamst3r uses that.
A. Since thats the box i'm looking into. I have 3 more LCDs and a big screen plasma with 4 more towers and my 360 and PS3 connected. This older monitor is for browsing.
I agree with above. I haven't had a rig with 1 box since 98.
I have a CRT, so my resolution varies depending on what I'm doing. 1024x768 on the desktop. 1600x1200 in most modern games. 640x480, 800x600, or 1024x768 in much older games.
