yeah I can't logon to psn, and i cant get any of my downloaded games to work.
 
Edit: oddly enough SFvs capcom worked, and im currently downloading the 1.1 update for it....
edit: the playstation website works but it looks like they completely updated it to something new...it looks nothing like it did before.

Wow. Hackers literally downgraded the PS3 to a PS2. As far as the network goes.

I've been getting this issue too. I tried to play Guitar Hero 5 and it would load up then just go to a black screen then I try to put in Modern Warfare 2 and it has the message of "Can't sync to trophies. Game will end." or something like that
 
Hopefully this won't cause permanent damage to my PS3 or any PS3 involved for that matter

Now that I think about it, I kinda found it strange that I didn't get some trophies when I played Dead Space today at 7pm EST and then about 2 hours later I go back to play some more video games the PS3 was acting funky

So.. the PS3 has finally become self-aware.

Today in the morning I turned on my PS3 just to check something quick on the net before getting out of bed. I was able to sign in, but it seemed like I had no friends at all. Finding this odd I went on to check out the PlayStation store and everything seemed fine. In the end I simply convinced myself that all those, like 15, friends that I had were all silenced and erased from history by some secret service, probably from Cuba, and I went on with my day. I wonder if simply turning off your internet connectivity, in network settings, as to imply that you simply just don't own the internet will just fix the problem of playing disc games.
