Nah, it's definitely just a rumor. I doubt it's possible for the PS3 to have in game videos via firmware."

nice. i wish you could take pics or make a video in game. like if your at a certain part (wanting a certain pic of a certain enemy in uncharted) you can take the pic or video and enjoy.

... the machine just costed me 6,000 kr about  1000 american dolllars...
But they decided:

sounds like a good update but some of the features SHOULD have been standard - just feels a bit like Sony are trailing even further behind MS in so many of the social aspects at the minute and MS seem to still be pulling away...

This  may interest you then.  Apparently the PS3 can already do it....just games need to support the feature.

Also apparently the Flash version is being updated in this firmware as well....FREAKING YES!"

Do you have any common sense? There's a 1GB install because the load times are quicker as opposed to 360. Plus if you install the game there's no need for multiple discs."

Agreed Snail, he just needs to buy a 360.

No he doesn't...I'm pretty sure he has one because I've seen others threads with him bitching about 360 games too, so ...whatever. This is a really nice update, I really hope a lot of games decide to support the screenshot feature as time passes, it would be great.

Flash Player 9 is awesome! I can finally watch streamed movies on my PS3! XD

I hope LBP supports the in game pics. That would be awesome.
