Like 150-160 USD, and he said I could pay him in spice (videgames, movies, books, etc...). And he has this underused PS3, he owns Uncharted and Resistance: FoM. So I thought about getting him some new games, but I am not that knowledgable about the PS3 world.

So what PS3 EXCLUSIVES would you recommned, that are already out?

• Metal Gear Solid 4 - recommended if enjoyed other games in the series.
• Folklore - if he likes RPGs.
• Warhawk - if he's into online gaming.
• Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction - if he likes platformers.
• LittleBigPlanet - Again, platforming. And if he has online, definitely not worth it for just the single-player campaign.

Give him cash to get his own games

Who the hell would prefer games instead of money??  If you buy the game and he hates it, you may get blamed.  Just give him the money, it's simpler and he can buy whatever he damn well wants.  This is why i don't understand why people buy gift cards.

But seriously, games are hit and miss. You could do perfectly, or really screw up.
