I could swear I watched a quick look of a Nobunaga game right here.
My first reaction was like "what the..."
Looks like the gameplay is Pokemon Tactics, but it's hard to tell from those screenshots.
I guess pumping out traditional Pokemon RPGS too quickly would make fatigue set in that much more quickly, but every time I see Pokemon spin-off games, I cringe and think about what could be getting to me that much more quickly.
I know I've heard the name "Nobunaga's Ambition" somewhere before, but I have no fucking clue what the games are about. That said, it's Pokémon, it's on DS, I'll get it if it comes out in the US/EU.

Nobunaga's Ambition is a long-running strategy game series. The first game was actually Koei's very first video game release. Only a select few entries have been released in the U.S., though. The most recent game that I own is Nobunaga's Ambition: Iron Triangle on the PS2, but there have been other entries made since then. The whole point of the game is to select a force, build your power base, form alliances, and defeat rivals to gain control over Japan. It's similar in some ways to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series.
