    There are times where I watch montages of someone playing a video game and think to myself, 'Hell, I wish I could pull of stuff like that!'

    I never thought I'd be thinking the same after watching a Portal 2 montage!

     
     Also there's apparent free cake for anyone that can land the throw at 2:37. I might try and have a go at this myself.

    I read on Reddit (so grain of salt) that the physics between the xbox360 and pc versions are different and that the throwing glitch can't be reproduced on the pc.

    @Nux: I think that all he does is let go of the cube at a precise moment. The game's physic engin takes care of the rest. All he has to do is time and aim
