Multiple games now eh? Either humble indie bundle 2 or humble indie bundle 3 would be great too. Even if I don't win it I might pick one of those up anyways. Proceeds go to child's play and that's always a good cause
There's always going to be someone plotting things like that for the 9/11 anniversaries. So far national security has done a good job of taking care of any serious plots, I wouldn't get overly worried about it
Seeing as Betting the Farmville has pretty much bit the dust I'd love to see this get thrown into the giantbomb videos section. It's too good to be relegated to blog posts and youtube videos
The Butt Barn's probably going to win it but the BombBomb Ranch seems like so much more fun. Lemon will buy random cows, get his suit on, jump in a blimp with a British guy, he doesn't give a shit
@FluxWaveZ: But there's definitely a diference in the usage of those terms. The impression that I get is that if you play video games at all, you become a "gamer" For movie buffs, it's really only the top movie aficionados that you see being called that I can get behind people wanting to label themselves as gamers, just not others going and setting that label right off the bat
I'm that guy that doesn't like the term "gamer" at all. I watch movies, I'm not a "movier", I read but that doesn't make me a "reader" A lot of it probably has to do with how it's used by advertisers and all, it just sounds like a gross word to me now if you know what I mean
So all in all, I'd love for us to all to be just a bunch of people who happen to play games
As someone who owns and regularly plays a guitar this is actually really interesting to me. I wanted to try out rock band 3 with the real guitar but there was no way I was going to pay for a full priced guitar (quality didn't seem all that great for the price). From what I've seen of this all you need is a cable to go from the console to the guitar, hopefully bundled with the game. Learning guitar is a whole lot of repitition and anything that can make that a little more fun is welcome.
If they can put together a decent selection of songs I'll definitely pick it up
