To me, Demon's Souls soundtrack and storyline/characters were far more interesting

Dark Souls is extremely huge though, and harder. So more satisfying to conquer. Its level design/monster design is vastly superior as well.

Still, my choice remains with Demon's Souls

Death's Souls

Follows the same abbreviation ( DS ) and gameplay directions as in you die a lot in those 2 games.

haha same here. I was so freaked out when I fell in the trap. I was so pissed off I got cursed then. But yeah they're terrifying. Wait until you meet the boss of the depths though.

Quite possibly one of the coolest / scariest / freakiest boss I have ever seen.

I won't be playing Demon Souls when Dark Souls comes out but it's still good news for those who will be playing ;)

King Allant was to me the final Boss. He's one of the hardest bosses I have ever seen in video games. And after reading what was above, I think it makes sense now that they made the final boss like it is. It does create a dramatic effect, just like when you confront Maiden Astraea and she kills herself after saying: "take your precious Demon soul". You kinda feel bad about her death and keep wondering what the hell you've been doing until now. It's genius
