Second time I've come across a progress-breaking bug in Dead Rising 3. Had to restart chapter 5, now 7.

Remember when The Division was announced and all the hokey but interesting tactical squad chatter was touted? This seems to be one of the first games to nail that, minus the hokey.

Dan should have learned from Brad's own previous elusive target attempt. So happy that Brad pulled it off.I was cheering/equally nervous.

I'd love to say that Bloodlines is secretly the best Castlevania of the generation, but I guess I'm biased because I only had the Genesis at the time. I did really love some of the boss design, the level branching, and the soundtrack though.

@andrewb: I had the crash issue at Firelink, put the lighting to low and its been flawless since so you should be right. I am wearing a massive cape, long hair etc and no issues since making the adjustment.

Nice. Hopefully they've nailed the issue down so I don't have to think about it in the future. I've still since had it affect me even with my current standard attire. Cloth physics should not come at the cost of gameplay/graphics. I'd imagine From and Nvidia are both on it, but they should have been weeks ago.

I got the bonfire crash thing myself. I have a 670.

First solution I sought said to turn the lighting down to low, due to a conflict between the game's lighting engine and cloth physics, which made a little bit of sense since it started happening to me immediately after equipping a new set of cloth armor I had found in the area. I haven't played *that* much more beyond that, but the crashing did stop . I haven't equipped that armor since - out of fear - (but I was able to turn lighting back up to high) so I can't 100% say for sure if that's the issue. It's still dubious since I've been wearing a couple of other pieces of armor with cloth. All I'll do for now is shrug and be happy I can still play the game.

I just did numerous short side-ops. All of them got me good stuff. They also unlocked all of the 2nd act main missions. You guys are making this way too hard. Small amount of "tedium" (which actually nets you progress in the gameplay mechanics) VS multiple episodes of futzing around with the tapes or attempting the dumb harder versions of previous missions.

Just do a/some side-ops until the next main mission shows up. Alternate between them. My second chapter never required anything else to get through. I haven't played the main campaign since all the unnecessary patches, but I'm pretty sure they didn't futz around and put that behind a paywall.

Maybe with a caveat or two. I need to see a compelling game, and I'll need to see what new GPUs this year brings and their prices first. Technically I might also have to upgrade my processor, but I feel like it's hard to believe that an overclocked Ivy Bridge could be really that far behind in performance. Either way, still torn on Rift VS Vive, even though I'd have to go outside the home to ever have the free floor space for those experiences.

Also finding it weird how people are doing these price comparisons. That base price literally does not include a necessary item, nor the optimal experience with the move controllers. You'd have to have been weirdly into the Playstation ecosystem for the past two generations to have all that stuff already.

Same with the Rift. You *will* eventually want the controllers.

I've always been fine with eating a high initial price for a full and quality product. That said, none of these products come without some hefty price caveats for most people.
