I beat the rest of the game without beating any of the more difficult missions, so at the very least let Dan beat side missions on Drew's savegame just to unlock what needs to be done. Drew needs to see the real end after all this time.
Also, good luck to Drew. That last *actual* last mission is easy enough until the last segment which has a terrible autosave point. I thought people were being complainers until I tried it myself. Any game where you can die from a single, unexpected shot even with the most upgraded armor available is yuppers BS.
I think the only reason this game didn't get the attention it deserved in the Giant Bomb worst game of the year awards is that they were unaware of the part where the game was renamed and re-released in an equally broken state in the name of trying to shake the bad press.
Unfortunately the game that came out in September and the game that is out now are 2 very different levels of quality.
To be fair, I played the game both before and during the patches, but in both cases I figured out how not to engage in the online stuff. It probably did make playing the part of the game that was fun to me more enjoyable.
Also, it sucks that his team spent all that time on the fox engine and only got to use it on one game. And I love that his new studios name is the same as the old one.
You mean the last three Pro Evolution Soccer games don't count?
I was glad to see Drew figure it out so quickly. Took me no time at all either, but then I had the added complication that the initial batch of infected had two languages in common and I had to make the best guess.
Was also glad to see him have the same reaction I had when you come to the realization that there's no sorting for languages. I partially understand why you purposefully wouldn't include it, but even with the twisted reasoning I could come up with it's just a poor design decision which makes that part of the game even more unbearable.
Can we get a fund set up to protect Drew's base with insurance for the length he needs to beat the game to help him avoid the BS? I would never suggest giving Konami money for the sleaze of it under any other circumstances, but for the sake of a video thousands of people are going to be watching it might be worth it.
