The burping really gets toned down after the first couple episodes. They even talk about it briefly in the commentaries.

If your unsure, watch episodes 5,6, and 8. That's a good cut from the middle.

I'm having this problem also, except I'm in Alaska. I wouldn't be surprised of the local cable company was using China's internet.
