If I thought that the new Tomb Raider games (only played the first one mind) were boring and have thought all the Uncharted games looked boring (played the one with the blue people) and found Far Cry 4 to be super boring (after having enjoyed 3) do you think I will also find this boring?
I don't know about it. They haven't shown or announced anything that I thought was particularly cool and I have a a feeling that it will be a lot of things like"This is your new ship! Definitely not the same as your old ship!", "This is a surly Krogan warrior who joins your team, totally different to any other surly Krogan team mates you may have seen in the past".
Also, that bit where one of the devs was talking about how it's set in a new galaxy and things will be different but they made sure to give the new enemies clothes because they thought people would find naked bad guys too weird... It made me think that this game will be very safe and superficially hew closely to previous mass Effect things. I played mass Effect and thought it was cool even if three was not great. I don't really want the same thing again.
Oh, what's the bet that you get to the end of the first game and find out that there is dome sort of mysterious threat that is going to destroy the galaxy and you are going to save it!
Absolutely zero because celebrities' jobs are to entertain me for short periods of time, I couldn't care less what they think about anything else or what kind of products they might get paid to endorse. In fact the less I see of celebrities outside of their profession, the better.
This right here. Why would I pay attention to what a celebrity has to say about games or anything else for that matter.
@holycrapitsadam: Wow, that's a lot of boxes. As someone who doesn't understand why anyone would buy loot boxes in Overwatch, would you mind giving me a bit of insight on this one? Normally I can look at something like this and understand why someone would do it even if I would not. But I don't get it when it comes to cosmetics in fully priced games.
If some random person came up to me out of the blue and started telling me how to do my job I would fucking ruin them. These people are professionals and you are a total stranger, how would you feel in that situation?
It depends on the type of game. For an RPG, if I don't get the DLC before I finish it then I won't get it. Once my story is over, it's over. However, for strategy/tactics/management games then I will go back and replay it as those games have huge replayability for me. A good example is Crusader Kings. I'll play a game of it every year or so, often buying DLC for it before I start.
