Although I would argue that good multiplayer games are generally better games, they don't have the "anytime, anywhere" appeal singleplayer games have. It's really more of a "which one would you be ok with not having?" question, rather than "which one do you want the most?", and to that effect I'd be fine with not having multiplayer. Even though I enjoy multiplayer more, no singleplayer would be way too stifling.

Big ambitious RPG from a mid-tier developer that has never worked with the genre before... I wouldn't get my hopes up too much.

Nice to see he figured out what the game is actually about and started enjoying it.

@jjweatherman: Watching other people learn and discover the game is actually quite entertaining. Since the entire game is a learning process, watching other people playing can often lead to learning something yourself. However, if they refuse to partake in the game and reject the ideas of learning and exploration it's pretty much just infuriating. It's sorta what I hinted at in my first post here, if you go into the game with the wrong attitude it's just a horrible experience (for everyone), but with the right kind of approach the game is magnificent.

Watching that video is a stark reminder of why modern videogames are the way they are. Unfortunately he's not really gonna get any enjoyment out of the game unless he changes his approach to it.

This is a brutal one... While I would say Uncharted 2 right away, the direction this generation has gone has really put me off those kinda games. I really enjoyed both of them when I played them, but looking back FC3 has more of a lasting appeal. It's really a case of "do I judge them by todays standards, or by the standards at their launch?". To be honest I think I'd say FC3 is a better game, but I'm still gonna vote Uncharted 2.

Looking at the radar at the top I can't help but think that it's gonna be heavily inspired by Skyrim.
